Christmas Bingo Calendar 2009
Christmas bingo horoscopes - 6th December
Today we have a quiet Sunday with some relaxing bingo. We also lit the 2nd candle on our advent wreath (you can read about Advent here), and also installed the lights on the house. I really like this time of the year when you can see Christmas lights all over the streets; they really make my day. For today we have some nice Christmas rhymes and a great bingo promo from Bingo Room.
Christmas horoscopes – Oh My Stars
Bingo Room is featuring horoscope games on Sunday, so look for the Horoscope Patterns because every game that has a horoscope sign as a pattern will have $75 fixed jackpots for you to win! If you win on 3 patterns then you will also get a cash bonus of $50!
Christmas Team Bingo
If you haven’t played bingo in a team then it is the time to try it out. Playing bingo is more fun in a group and who knows; maybe you will meet new friends too! At Bingo Room you can team up with 3 other players and challenge other groups. Your group’s goal is to win the most game from 8-11 PM EST in Bingo Room’s bingo games. The first team wins cash prize of $500 the second and third one will cash in a nice amount of bonus bucks.
Christmas rhymes
I have found a great website where you can read more Christmas rhymes and children poems.
I found the ones below really entertaining:
S stands for stockings we hang up so high.
A is for all we get if we don’t cry.
N is for nobody he will pass by.
T is for to-morrow, the day we eat pie.
A stands for at last old Santa is nigh.
C for the children who love him so well.
L for the little girl, his name she can spell.
A stands for apples so rosy and red.
U is for us as we wait for his sled.
S stands for Santa Claus, who comes in the night
when we are tucked up in bed with our eyes
closed so tight
When gladly ring the Christmas chimes,
Then come our reminiscent times
And even cold hearts – slow to beat –
Feel something of the love thought heat
That emanates from one and all
And to our far off loved ones call.
Then YOU must feel all through and through
The tingling of my thoughts of you.
These are my messengers so true
Who bear this message, “I love you,
And wish you on this Christmas day
A joyful heart that comes to stay,
Not only for a day or two,
But for your whole life’s journey through.
6th December, Funny Facts
6th December is St. Nicholas day, in a lot of countries children are cleaning their shoes and put into the windows on the evening of 5th December. On 6th morning they shoes will be filled with little gifts and chocolate (if the child behave good during the year) and birch if he was not so good. (But St. Nicholas forgives pranks so children usually get a lot of chocolate.)
Closing thoughts on 6th December
